Local Business Owners: How To Guide for Obtaining a FREE Local Community Directory Display Listing.

To take advantage of our special offer to Local Businesses and obtain a premium display listing on the Co-OpWorld Local Community Directory, you need to register as a free member of Co-OpWorld. This will set you up with an account so that you can manage your listing. We do encourage business owners to manage their own listing.

Each ad submitted is reviewed and so it may take 36 hours for your ad to be featured in the directory.

Currently there are three levels of Directory Listing:
  1. Gold Sponsor -- by purchasing a Sponsor Ad, you receive exposure throughout the general Co-OpWorld site, and your business listing is preferentially positioned ahead of the other two categories. Click Here for more info on Sponsorship Advertising.
  2. Silver -- As a free member you can obtain a fully featured display ad, including the ability to upload a 120x120 pixel . Click here for an example
  3. Bronze -- We are currently accepting some ads from non-members which feature lower down the results and have less detailed info.

If your business has multiple sites, you need only have one main Co-OpWorld account, however you will need to create additional advertising accounts for each ad. The address details in the advertising form, are the ones published with the ad.

The following steps outline the procedure:
  1. If already a member login to your account by clicking on the Blue Existing members button, or if you are not yet a member, fill out our simple registration form by clicking on the green button
  2. Upon completion of either route, you will land on the Advertising Order Page.
  3. You can fill out as little or as much information as you like, provided there is at least a Business Name and either telephone number or email address.
  4. The table below gives some information on the different information fields:
Username

Use the same username as you used to join Co-OpWorld .

If your business has multiple addresses, you will need to create a separate ad account for each additional address and ad.. We ask that the username for these additional accounts take the format:
