Communities of Interest: Helping people such as Gardeners, Scrapbookers, Skateboarders get together locally and globally in our Worlds of Interest

Community Groups: Giving Schools, Churches, Sports Clubs and other Non-Profits no-cost ways to communicate and generate funding with our Community Boosters

Co-OpWorld is a free-to-join community giving people in Global and thousands of other local communities around the world, a place to ' have a voice ', interact, transact, search, save time and money and meet others with common interests in a fun and family friendly environment.

Co-OpWorld is an exciting new way to enjoy the fun and benefits of Getting Involved in your Local Community. We help build stronger relationships between the different groups that make Global what it is today.

The Internet has been proven to be highly effective at connecting people to people and businesses to consumers. Companies like Yahoo, Google, eBay and Monster.com connect people in the same way we will be doing, however at Co-OpWorld there are several innovations that will set us apart.

Co-OpWorld is designed around word of mouth marketing and the creation of Win-Win-Win situations by establishing a large network of people working co-operatively. It's about people helping people, but recognizes that to be effective it is important that it is based on the free market forces that have delivered many of the efficiencies that power the world's economies. We call it Co-Opitalism, and are convinced it will help create a more sustainable world where people, as well as money, matter in daily commerce.

Co-OpWorld is an international initiative of Community Enabler Pty. Ltd., a privately held Australian company based in Melbourne, Australia.

In January 2000, eight Australians teamed up with the vision to create a better world with stronger local and global communities, by harnessing the power of the Internet and networks of people spreading the word.

In July 2001, the company was renamed Community Enabler Pty. Ltd. and the project was presented at the Australian Social Entrepreneur's Network Conference in Sydney, Australia.

The original intention was to run the business as a Not-For-Profit company leveraging philanthropic donations/investments and sponsorship funding. After a roadshow of the Australian circuit in 2001, it was recognized that further enhancements of the business model were necessary.

In November 2003, Co-OpWorld went into a prelaunch phase by engaging the Home Business Incubator (HBI) to kickstart the project. This was achieved by HBI building a community of entrepreneurial Internet Marketers to establish a membership base and generate sufficient funds to build the Co-OpWorld business platform. In February 2004, we commenced the LocalWorld's Community Partner Program and in May 2005 launched our Virtual Expos program.

We are currently still in a Beta launch phase and will be working through 2005 to get people involved with using the "Co-OpWorld Community Building Systems" to help bring together people around the world.

The name Co-OpWorld was chosen as an interim name to symbolize our goals to create a world where there is a greater level of co-operation.

It is important to understand that Co-OpWorld is now entering Phase Three of a Ten phase project that has the potential to significantly impact how business is transacted around the world. It is even more important to understand that the blue print that has been laid down, comprises VERY achievable small steps, each of which has plenty of "What's In It For Me" for all stakeholders.

Come join our communities and be in a position to tell your granchildren that you played an important part in getting the Co-OpWorld snowball rolling. Each individual can play an important part, and we have created a business that rewards those who are active.

After joining Co-OpWorld you will have access to more information regarding the benefits and products and services that you can enjoy. So come join our community today. You need never spend a cent to participate and can still enjoy many rewards.
